We Are Scientists Reading Hexagon
i saw we are scientists last night they were fucking awesome, the support acts were, au reviour simone, and mates of state, all of au reviour simones sound the same and the drummer of mates of state had a mint card nose.
But when We Are Scientists were on, everything was awesome, they opened witha cover of Against All Odds, and everyone went mental in like every song, it was mental
there was even a mosh which was mental, there was loads of jumping, and being squashed and it was all great, playing i think most there album, and ended with them just singing to the end of the road, it was mental, i wish i was there again, infact i proberly like them even more now.
and i brought a cool wristband with wwwasd on it meaning what would we are scientists do, rather than what would jesus do.

The Young knives Oxford Zodiac Halloween 2006
Last night i went to see the young knives in oxford zodiac, they were fucking awesome, and so were the support bands, Fortune Drive and The Grates.
Fortune Drive were pretty cool, and they dressed up as The Young knives for halloween, and henry from the young knives comes out part way through there set and shouts 'what the fuck did you come as' and as i was right at the front at the barriers, Henry sat right infront of me, i thought should i be the annoying fan and speack to him or should i not.
The Grates, second act on the bill were awesome, as i walked up the stairs to the gig i was talking to this random woman who ended up being the main singer of The Grates, and they were amazing, id reccomend them.
Finally when The Young Knives came on, they opened with Part Timer, and compalined about fortune drive, they played many songs from the recent album, and because they love oxford they played, old unreleased song 'easy peasy', they also played kramer vs kramer but , when house of lords wanted to play it hery and oli disagrred with him but they still played it, they ended with 'weekend and bleack days' but in the encore, they played shes atracted to, well obviously, and they ended with 'Night of the Trees' from first ep/album thing '...are Dead' they were awesome.
now to see We Are Scientists tomorrow.
